ABOUT
I’m someone who likes understanding how things work, finding the parts that don’t make sense, and figuring out a better way to do them.
I’ve spent most of my career around technology — from engineering and cybersecurity to automation, software and building things of my own.
Most of what I know came from being curious enough to keep pulling at threads.
I studied computer engineering before eventually moving into cybersecurity.
Along the way, I’ve worked with physical security systems, infrastructure, SOC operations, automation, AI, self-hosted software and a lot of things that don’t fit neatly into one category.
That’s probably the common thread in everything I do — I’ve never been particularly interested in staying inside one box.
If I find something interesting, I tend to learn enough about it to build something with it.
That has led to everything from running my own servers at home to building software products, automating annoyingly repetitive jobs and occasionally disappearing down a technical rabbit hole for much longer than intended.
Started with computer engineering and an obsession with understanding systems.
Worked around access control, CCTV, secure systems, networking and IT.
Moved deeper into investigating systems, threats and how things break.
Automation, software, AI, websites, self-hosting and whatever else I happen to be curious about.
Still figuring out what the next interesting problem is.
I’ve picked up a few certifications while following various technical rabbit holes.

There is a suspiciously large server sitting in my house.
If I have to do the same thing three times, I start wondering why a computer isn’t doing it.
Part profession, part permanent curiosity about how systems fail.
Mostly interested in what becomes possible when you actually build with it rather than talk about it.
Software, websites, weird little tools, experiments — usually something is being built.
If you’ve made it this far, you probably have a decent idea of who I am.
